A new share sheet for iOS and Android

Capacities got a reworked interface to share links, text, images, and other media files to Capacities. It now works much faster and is easier to use. You can directly select where you want to store your shared content, and it gets captured in the background without the need to open the app. Feedback welcome!

Faster startup time on mobile

The mobile app on iOS and Android boots much faster now. You can expect a substantial difference from before.

• Fixed a bug where recurring tasks were not marked as completed properly. Ticket
• Corrected the displayed ISO week number for date-range grouping. Ticket
• Fixed import of images in markdown files by properly escaping spaces in links and image paths. Ticket
• Fixed issue causing bullet points to always show as bullets even when toggle style was set to bullet. Ticket
• Fixed an issue where dragging and dropping pages to the titlebar unintentionally removed them from the overview. Ticket
• Resolved a visual glitch during drag-and-drop reordering in the sidebar navigation. Ticket
• Prevented preview cards from closing unexpectedly when moving the cursor to child popups or menus.
• Fixed a bug where leaving the card view while hovering to edit caused the card to close.
• Restored clickability to the structure submenu in settings breadcrumbs for easier navigation.

✨ Improvements

• Dates: Confirming and canceling dates on desktop is more reliable, including when editing date properties and task dates.
• Side panel & tabs: Opening the side panel with a drag gesture feels smoother and more reliable. The keyboard shortcut to open the tab list works again.
• Presentation mode: You can present daily notes and media objects, not just regular pages. Numbered lists keep continuous numbering across slides.
• Graph: Hovering a node shows the full title when the label is truncated.

🐛 Fixes

• Fixed cases where objects wouldn’t open in the side panel.
• Deleted tabs unpin automatically and can still be unpinned or closed.
• Hover previews no longer appear for deleted or unfinished objects.
• On iOS, you can reliably delete blocks with Backspace again.
• Cover images respect crop/contain settings in small mode and no longer overflow in standard view.
• Profile cover hover controls work again.
• Changing an icon’s color updates the last-used block icon correctly.
• Fixed a freeze where the app could stop responding to clicks after navigating around (command palette and other overlays could open but not accept input).
• In presentation mode, the audio player now uses the full content width of the slide instead of staying as a narrow control strip.
• Pressing Enter in a toggle no longer steals nested content or creates a broken new toggle.
• Enter from an open toggle no longer keeps unwanted heading formatting.
• Nested content inside toggles has more balanced spacing.
• The block drag handle hover state works correctly again.
• Pasting images is more reliable, and text paste no longer doubles content.
• Index card layouts have better bottom spacing, including when backlinks are present or empty.
• Focus mode looks cleaner on macOS, with correct backgrounds and window controls spacing.
• Block previews in cards align more consistently.
• Saved web links no longer open as a blank page at medium screen widths.
• The Embed tab is available again on desktop weblink pages.
• Dashboard search finds partial title matches again.
• Community onboarding now points to the current Capacities community page.
